James Wolfe Deaf Centre offer a weekly drop-in impression taking clinic. This session is led by our lead teacher of the deaf, Miss Field holds an addition qualification in Educational Audiology and is BSA accredited in otoscopy (looking in your ears) and impression taking.
This services is currently offered to all children between the ages of 5 and 13 that attend the paediatric audiology clinic at St Thomas's hospital.
Earmould Drop-In runs on Thursday morning from 9.30-11.30, no appointment is needed. Children can pick colours and glitters as normal and the moulds will be posted from James Wolfe directly to clinic.
The last Thursday of each month will be an ASD friendly session, we are compiling a series of social stories, images and photographs of the space to help support children with ASD and their families. We understand that your child may need to attend a few session to understand the process before impression are possible.
