We have an active committee that meets every Friday at drop off in the Parents’ Room (at far end of Randall Place playground). How you help us raise money for the school

We host a number of fundraising activities, including:

  • Christmas (4 Dec), Spring (18 Mar) and Summer (9 July) Fairs - the Christmas Fair 2015 raised more than £2,000!

  • Regular bake sales

  • Support at school social events

  • Phil the Bag, a textile and clothing recycling scheme

  • Other events such as bingo & curry nights, soup kitchen, cake stall in Greenwich Market

  • Charity events eg walks, runs; we have a Just Giving page and anyone can raise money for the School

  • Register with to earn money back for the school when shopping online

  • Uniform free days, held half termly

  • Christmas Cards and tea towels designed by your children

  • Cashback from Yellow Moon, Micro Scooters, Stamptastic

  • Organic fruit & veg box schemes - in 2016 this is being run with Riverford Organics

  • Cashback for Christmas trees

  • Please visit for details on how you can easily raise money for the school

What we spend the money on

  • Last year we were delighted to donate £11,000 for playground improvements at Royal Hill

  • We support the Literacy Committee, Forest School and more

  • We pay for regular magazine and newspaper subscriptions

  • In the pipeline… two more outside play spaces

All the above monies have been raised over many years by the hard work of many parents/carers committees.

We need you!

  • Our Committee is small and we rely on your help at all our events, from planning and preparation to setting up, tidying away, shopping… There is always a lot to do to make these events fantastic for everyone

  • Do you have any fundraising ideas? Perhaps you can help in the job you do? If you are sporty, you could do a sponsored event for the school? Are you a DJ? A face painter? A magician in your spare time? We are always open to suggestions!

  • Remember it is the money raised by parents/ carers who support the fundraising events that allows the FJWS to invest money raised back into the school for the good of its pupil

Every parent/carer is a Friend of James Wolfe. Please come on any Friday to meet/visit the committee members, to get involved, share ideas and offer a skill or expertise.

We look forward to a great year and to the future success of the FJWS.
