Welcome to James Wolfe Primary School with Centre for the Deaf

Our school is located in the centre of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, only a short distance from the Cutty Sark and the National Maritime Museum.

Our school has the following learning areas:

Foundation Learning Phase (Randall Place)

We have a part time nursery for children from the age of 3 and we have four Reception classes (pupils aged 4/5).  In September 2014 we moved from three to four Reception classes.

Learning Phase 1 (Randall Place)

Learning Phase 1 contains Year 1 (pupils aged 5/6), Year 2 (pupils aged 6/7) and Year 3 (pupils aged 7/8).  Currently we have four classes in Year 1, three classes in Year 2 and three classes in Year 3.

Learning Phase 2 (Royal Hill)

Learning Phase 2 contains Year 4 (pupils aged 8/9), Year 5 (pupils aged 9/10) and Year 6 (pupils aged 10/11). Currently we have two classes in Year 4, three smaller classes in Year 5 and three smaller classes in Year 6.

Centre for Deaf Children

We host a specialist provision for up to 15 Deaf Children across our school.  Our Deaf Children receive a mix of specialist and mainstream teaching.  Our whole school community is a rich signing environment with all children and staff learning British Sign Language.

We are always delighted to welcome visitors to our school.  Please contact the school office who will be happy to arrange a time for you to come and see us.
