UPDATES TO CHILDCARE PROVISION:
From Monday 1st June school child care provision will run adjusted hours 8am-5pm. On Thursday 4th June the provision will move permanently to our Royal Hill campus.
Childcare provision for eligible families during the extended school closure
Following the government directive, we will be running a child care provision during school closure at the Randall Place Campus.
This will operate with a skeleton staff and will not involve formal learning. In order to keep the numbers to a minimum and support the objective of slowing the spread of the coronavirus, the criteria has been set by the government and is precise. We ask that families only use this provision where there is no other alternative.
Our child care is only for:
- Children with an EHCP
- Children with an allocated social worker
- Children of parents who are critical workers. The term critical worker is defined as: “Critical workers include NHS staff, police, farmers and food retail workers, who need to be able to go out to work.” Further guidance can be found here:
Our care provision will operate daily from 8am-6pm. Entrance and exit through the usual Breakfast Club door. Children do not need to wear uniform. Breakfast will be served between 8am and 9am and lunch will also be provided.
Attendance will be dependent on children being fit and healthy. Remember if anyone in the home has symptoms then children should self-isolate with the family for 14 days.
The school office remains closed so any communication for children who attend our care provision should use the following mobile number: 07557 381675 (only from Monday morning onwards).
Those eligible for free school meals.
As a school we are implementing a Tesco e-voucher scheme. Vouchers to the value of £12 per week for each child eligible for free school meals will be emailed to primary contact parents. Parents of children eligible for free school meals should email firstname.lastname@example.org giving their child's name and requesting the e-vouchers. We will issue the vouchers fortnightly for the duration of the school closure. Please do not respond to any emails asking you to transfer money to pay for free school meals (see known scam above). Do continue to look out for texts and emails from us as a school regarding this. (Please note this is not universal free school meals). This voucher scheme replaces the free packed lunch we have been issuing.
Please let us know if:
Throughout any closure, the school can be contacted by emailing the following email address email@example.com . We will answer all emails and will phone you if you ask us to.
