Our school is located in the centre of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, only a short distance from the Cutty Sark and the National Maritime Museum.
The Friends of James Wolfe is a registered charity (no 1085963) run by parents/carers of pupils in the school. We have an active committee that meets every Friday at drop off in the Parents’ Room (at far end of Randall Place playground). All parents/carers are very welcome to come along on Fridays and join the meeting, where we plan fundraising events and discuss new ideas for raising money for our School.

What we spend the money on
Last year we were delighted to donate £11,000 for playground improvements at Royal Hill
We support the Literacy Committee, Forest School and more
We pay for regular magazine and newspaper subscriptions
In the pipeline… two more outside play spaces
All the above monies have been raised over many years by the hard work of many parents/carers committees.
We need you!
Our Committee is small and we rely on your help at all our events, from planning and preparation to setting up, tidying away, shopping… There is always a lot to do to make these events fantastic for everyone
Do you have any fundraising ideas? Perhaps you can help in the job you do? If you are sporty, you could do a sponsored event for the school? Are you a DJ? A face painter? A magician in your spare time? We are always open to suggestions!
Remember it is the money raised by parents/ carers who support the fundraising events that allows the FJWS to invest money raised back into the school for the good of its pupil
Every parent/carer is a Friend of James Wolfe. Please come on any Friday to meet/visit the committee members, to get involved, share ideas and offer a skill or expertise.
We look forward to a great year and to the future success of the FJWS.
