Palm Readers

Links between BSL and mainstream class topics have been evident In BSL lessons across the school. All children have benefited from the opportunity to revisit topic vocabulary and to learn the signs for these terms. Children have enjoyed learning signed songs and performed with enthusiasm and confidence.

Turn Signs - EYFS

In Nursery children learnt the vocabulary connected to Summer, holidays and different summer activities. They enjoyed taking turns and taking part.

Signs of the Seasons - KS1

In Year 2 children learnt the BSL signs for the topic of ‘plants and growing’. They showed excellent recall of previous learning as well, discussing the vocabulary learnt in the Spring term too.
