The learning below shows pupils development in all around fitness and agility when moving their body around in an open or restricted space.
Healthy Start - EYFS
EYFS students have been exploring fitness and agility by focusing on ways in which to move their body. They have also been focusing on healthy habits to maintain fitness and health as they grow older.
Circuit Superstars - KS1
KS1 students have been focusing on circuit training and sustaining exercises for an extended period of time before moving onto a different activity. Completing movements ranging from star jumps, to running, to squats they have worked hard to improve general agility.
High Intensity Interval Training - LKS1
Lower KS2 students have been working on building muscle and general fitness. Completing HIIT style circuit training to continue to work hard even when tired. Multiple students working in a space has helped them to be aware of their body and others around them when in a confined or restricted space.
Running Towards a Healthy Tomorrow - UKS2
Upper KS2 students have been focusing on all around fitness by running around Greenwich Park. Long distance running has allowed students to build stamina, and establish positive and healthy habits for a balanced lifestyle.
